SST. Maker marked "The Donaldson Art Sign Co." A nice collection of two c. 1950's tin signs from Hires featuring vibrant colors and gloss. CONDITION: The smaller Hires sign retains excellent gloss and vibrant colors with only minor detractions. There is surface scratching in a few places and minor paint loss to the extreme edges of the border (8.8). The larger Hires sign retains great shine with vibrant colors throughout the field. There is light surface scratching and very minor areas of paint loss around the field (8.8). In total, these signs display wonderfully together and would be a good addition to any collection.
