SSP. Maker mark "Walker & Co., Detroit." C. 1930s unique and rare Chevrolet single-sided neon sign, with Telechron clock. CONDITION: Sign has oxidation throughout, but most visible in the black porcelain. Sign shows areas of porcelain loss on all panels, with a large area of match paint on the bottom right-hand corner of the top blue and grey striped panel. The sign also has another significant touch-up on the red and cream panel at the base of the sign. Sign shows areas of porcelain loss and wear throughout the edge, most notably on the black Chevrolet panel. The can for the clock is new, but the face of the clock itself appears to be original. The sign lights red in the "Chevrolet" lettering and has a white inner tube on the clock. The piece does have a newly added can, and newly-added electrical with a new cord. Overall, a phenomenal displaying piece you rarely see in any condition.
