Single-Sided Glass. Maker marked "Achrach & Co." A nice example of this c. 1900's to 1910's convex sign from Ruhstaller Gilt Edge Beer featuring a metal frame with reflective jewels surrounding the border. The back has an original wood support frame that would have allowed the sign to be mounted onto a corner post. CONDITION: The field of the reverse painted glass lens has a few scrape marks and areas of paint loss, but does not keep the piece from displaying well. The metal border has good patina and period oxidation, and the surrounding reflective jewels are complete. In total, this is a desirable piece with good eye appeal and would display well in any collection.
