American. Pre-war. This set includes no. 390E locomotive and tender with orange stripe on frame, three no. 516 coal hoppers with rubber stamped side lettering, and no. 517 caboose in extremely rare black and red combination. Tender is cracked and needs repair and locomotive shows scrapes and scratches throughout. Locomotive grades good to very good while tender grades excellent. All three hopper cars range from very good plus to excellent with some minor wear overall. Caboose grades very good with some minor scratching and pitting.
