American. Post war. Plywood and heavy cardboard. All original. This extremely rare and exotic item is possibly one-of-a-kind with its original box. Display, which operates as a layout as well, has four lighted signs advertising Lionel products from the late '40s. Art Deco in design and fully electrically operated. Shelves are blue, layout is painted green, and side columns are painted gold. Layout does not include any trains or accessories and the O-27 switches and track are affixed to the board. Shows very minor wear throughout. Original box has amazingly survived intact with all inserts and contents and would grade 6-7/10. This is a great piece of Lionel history.
