SST. Maker mark "The Meek Co." C. 1920s Potosi Brewing Co., Potosi, Wis. "Camping on the Mississippi" self-framed tin lithograph, with outstanding early graphic and color. CONDITION: Sign has outstanding color throughout the field, with areas of minor surface staining and minor surface scratches. Sign has a significant scratch on the left-hand side that goes across the three gentlemen fishing above the little boy's head, which has had match paint applied. The outer self-framed edge is in excellent condition, with strong coloring in the lettering. There are areas of staining and minor paint loss throughout the outer edge. Overall, a terrific early example with over-the-top graphics and display-ability.
