Manufactured by the W.B. Barry & Company. A nice example of this decorative hot peanuts warming box display, featuring an original base with a copper box, lid and 4 tin peanut signs. CONDITION: Lid of this box shows areas of cracking in the metal, but displays well with the age of the piece. Tin signs show areas of surface wear and display very nicely. Rest of the metal box shows surface oxidation and age appropriate patina. Box retains an original ornate handle and embossed tin sign on the underside of the lid, which remains in good displaying condition featuring an eagle graphic. This would be an excellent addition to any collection.
