Clean, brilliant and colorful pre-Prohibition 1907 to 1910's Pennsy Select Beer tip tray, Mutual Union Brewing Company, Aliquippa, PA."Quick !! A GLASS PLEASE FOR 'OUR MUTUAL FRIEND'". Intricate rim with top hat man on both sides. Manufactured by the "Ivan B. Nordhem Company, Pittsburgh No 10", as marked along the lower edge. Also a very rare lithograph manufacturer. Brilliant example of this difficult-to-find tip tray. CONDITION: Clean overall, with only very light wear on close inspection in the right light. Has one pinpoint-size mark just above the bottle and face edge below the "t" in "Select." Very light crazing to the gloss when held at the perfect angle. Little to no rim edge wear. Has some dried tape residue on the back that will clean up. An incredible example.
