DST. C. 1930s Goodyear Service Station tin lithograph flange sign with outstanding early tire graphic. CONDITION: Side 1, has fair color throughout, with areas of surface staining and surface scratches. Sign has a couple notable deep scratches all the way through the paint throughout the inner and outer fields, as well as areas of staining and edge wear along the outer edge of the flange. (8.0). Side 2, has good color and gloss, with slightly more surface staining and deeper scratching with paint loss in the inner field. The "Goodyear Service Station" lettering also has excellent crackled paint throughout. The outer edges of the sign also show significant staining and minor surface scratching. (7.75). Overall, an outstanding early flange with excellent early automotive graphic.
