DST. Maker mark "Shonk Works." C. 1930s U.S Royal Cord Tires tin lithographed flange sign with outstanding early tire graphic and colors. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss throughout, with areas of surface staining and scratches with paint loss. The sign also shows deeper staining to the top left-hand corner of the tire graphic and around the perimeter of the piece. (8.25). Side 2, has good color and gloss, with slightly more scratches with paint loss than the previous side. The sign also has multiple areas of surface staining, as well as very minor paint loss on the outer edges of the piece. (8.0).
