DST. Outstanding c. 1950s Breyer's Ice Cream double-sided painted tin sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has significant color loss throughout the embossed lettering. The rest of the sign shows significant staining and surface scratching, as well as deeper surface scratches with paint loss. The "Murray's" panel shows no cracks, but does have some minor surface scratches and staining, as well as bubbling on the added vinyl stickers. (7.5) Side 2, also has significant fade and color loss throughout the embossed lettering. The leaf graphic shows areas of paint loss, surface scratching and deep scratches with complete paint loss. The outer edges of the sign show areas of significant surface staining. The plastic "Murray's" panel is also in excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks, with only very minor bubbling in the vinyl letters. The can itself is in excellent structural condition, with only minor areas of surface staining and scratching to note. (7.5). An overall excellent displaying piece, complete with the original hanging brackets.
