One of approximately 8,000 7.62x39mm Rasheed carbines produced in Egypt based on the larger Hakim/Ljungman rifle design. Standard military configuration with blued finish, threaded barrel, hooded post front sight, tangent rear, folding blade bayonet, detachable magazine, and 2-piece finger groove wood stock with stamped butt plate. Underside of the barrel import marked, the serial also translated into Arabic numerals with electropencil on the receiver. Complete with green woven sling. CONDITION: Good overall. Rifle retains the majority of its arsenal blue with thinning and wear. Stock likewise shows some scattered impressions and abrasions from military use, remaining very serviceable. Strong and bright bore with moderate frosting. Good mechanics.
