DST. Maker marked, "AAW." A nice example of this c. 1957 double-sided tin sign from Quaker State, featuring outstanding color and gloss. CONDITION: Side one retains a clean field with only light surface scratching. There is one mentionable paint flick in the "R" of "Motor." Extreme outer edges show very light paint loss along the bottom. (9.0). Side two retains a clean and glossy field. There are some light vertical surface scratching in the center of the field, but nothing to detract from the sign displaying well. The bottom edge shows very minor paint loss. (8.75++). In total, this is a good displaying sign that would be a nice addition to any collection.
