DSP. A nice example of this double-sided porcelain flange sign from Texaco, featuring their iconic logo with good color and shine. CONDITION: Side one retains good color and gloss throughout the field. There is minor surface scratching present mostly in the bottom 50% of the sign, as well as porcelain loss to the extreme outer edges. The bracket and mounting hole section of the sign show areas of oxidation and an added extra hole to the flange section itself. (8.75++). Side two retains excellent color and shine in the field, with one area of discoloration just to the right of the Texaco logo, but nothing that detracts from how well the sign presents. There is porcelain chipping to the extreme outer edges. (8.75++). In total, this is an outstanding example of this desirable piece of advertising from Texaco, and would be an excellent addition to any collection.
