SSP. Maker mark "SP59." Outstanding Frontier "Rarin' to Go" c. 1959 single-sided porcelain service station identification sign with exceptional graphic. CONDITION: The sign has good color and shine throughout, with very slight oxidation in the black porcelain and very minor oxidation and surface scratching on the cowboy and horse graphic. The sign shows one minor area of match paint in the field on the "N" of "Frontier", as well as a handful of very small BB-size areas of match paint around the extreme outer edge of the piece. The outer edge of the sign also shows very slight porcelain loss and staining. An overall outstanding example of this extremely popular sign, with over-the-top graphics and display ability.
