Showy and double mounted mid-19th century silver inlaid spurs with cut-out Northern Crested Caracara (Mexican eagle) and snake on the bands, 8-point inlaid rowels, swinging floral buttons attached to two-piece leathers decorated with stitched piteado cactus fiber designs. Verso features Spanish Xicalcoliuhqui stepped fret design, a common motif in Mesoamerican culture.
