Very scarce and extremely desirable 1/2 scale functioning and registered fully transferable miniature of the Browning 1919A4 machine gun chambered in .22 Long Rifle manufactured by Tippmann Arms Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana during the 1980s. The left side of the receiver is stamped "MOD. 1919 / NO. F37 / TIPPMANN ARMS CO. / FT. WAYNE, IN.". Metal components feature a parkerized finish overall. This example is accompanied by an original owner's manual, miniature tripod, T&E mechanism, 20 cloth belts, a bag of plastic disintegrating belt links, 5 Lakeside Machine plastic cloth belt loading strips and one belt loading tool, 2 miniature ammo cans, 3 spare coil springs, and a plastic box with numerous spare parts, as well as a wood transit chest, and high quality Starlight transport case. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original smooth gray-blue finish with some occasional handling marks. Original wooden chest is extremely fine to near excellent, with one gouge on the inside of the lid and some handling marks. Bore is fabulous, mirror bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crips. This is a Full-Auto only machine gun. Accessories are all near excellent, with the belts neatly rolled up. Transit chest retains its paper instruction sheet on the interior of the lid. Very few of these were made as registered fully transferable machine guns, and these are very highly sought today. No doubt there will be some fierce competition for this wonderful miniature, that is will make for both a fantastic display piece as well as a highly enjoyable and eye-catching machine gun to fire at the range. ADDENDUM: This item is accompanied by a 43x18" polyester banner with an image of a Tippmann 1919, and boldly proclaiming it the "King of the Rimfires"; a notation on the back of the banner indicates it was one of five produced.
