Lot consists of (A) German World War I Stahlhelm with no visible markings. Fragments of liner (2 pads) are present. Helmet exhibits later paint. (B) Reproduction brow plate for the helmet with Finnish strap that exhibits a "SA" square mark. Strap is broken. (C) Breastplate that appears original with later paint to match the brow plate, missing groin protector. A tag affixed to the armor states that the breast plate was picked up at the Marne battlefield in France on Armistice Day in 1922. CONDITION: NRA Good.
