Made at Winchester Repeating Arms Company in April 1941. Parkerized 24" military barrel with the correct milled front sight, lock bar military rear sight, and single slot gas plug. Barrel is visibly unmarked. Standard parkerized action with standard markings, including receiver marked "U.S. RIFLE / CAL 30 M1 / WINCHESTER / 105573" with "W.R.A." marked bolt, un-cut op-rod, and milled trigger group. Standard military walnut stock with invisible inspection mark and encircled "P" reinspection mark with correct blued military hardware. CONDITION: 40% original blue with areas worn to a silvery patina. Action has worn to an honest silvery patina with heavy carry and operating wear. Stock has cleaned surfaces with dings and marks. Good bore with ME of 2+ and TE of 4 and good mechanics. This rifle has all the characteristics of an original World War II rifle that has seen hard use.
