Made by Remington Arms Company in their Custom Shop between 1949 and 1960. Blued 25 - 1/2" barrel with ventilated rib, Lyman Hi-Viz front sight, 2 - 3/4" chambers, and Cylinder choke. Blued receiver with full coverage engraving, similar in style to work done by master engraver Carl Ennis with a floral background surrounding a pointing dogs center scene, and flying duck and pheasant scenes on the left panel, right panel has a scene with a pointing dog, grouse, and quail. Top and bottom of the receiver, trigger guard, and barrel breeches are done in a floral pattern. Gun is stocked in finely figured checkered American walnut with a Remington pistol grip cap and hard rubber buttplate. Matching finely checkered forearm in a diamond pattern. CONDITION: 98% blue with light handling marks. Wood has 95%+ original high-luster varnish with sharp checkering and small handling scratches. Good bore with good mechanics. A striking work of craftsmanship.
