Built by Quality Hardware between March 1944 and May 1944. Standard military finish 18" military barrel stamped "UNDERWOOD" and dated "1-44" with Flaming Bomb and unmarked barrel band with front swivel. Standard early style flip rear sight with "JQ" marked milled front sight. "Q-NL" marked trigger group with unmarked magazine release and push-button safety. Flat blued bolt marked "EM-Q" with "DA-Q" marked slide. 2-piece slide spring. High hood hardwood stock with "Q-RMC" in sling well, no cut for M-2 switch, oval cut oil slot, and crossed cannons ordnance wheel marking on right side. "Q-RMC" marked 2-rivet top wood. Complete with a NOS wrapped 15-round magazine, "IS" marked oiler, and web sling. CONDITION: Overall 95% remaining arsenal finish. Stock has visible markings but is lightly cleaned. Good bore with ME of 2 and crisp mechanics. There are no visible import marks.
