Built by the Saginaw Division of General Motors in Grand Rapids, Michigan, between April 1943 and May 1943. This gun was assembled by Saginaw (S'G') from leftover Irwin Pedersen parts, with only the receiver made by Irwin Pedersen. Standard military finish 18" barrel stamped with "Underwood", dated "4-43", and with correct "UP" marked barrel band with front swivel. Standard early style flip rear sight with unmarked milled front sight. "S'G'" marked trigger group with unmarked magazine release and push button safety. Visibly unmarked recoil shield. The blued flat bolt and the slide are marked "S'G'". 1-piece slide spring. High wood hardwood stock with "IR-IP" marked sling well, no cut for M-2 switch, "I" cut oil slot and "(Ordnance Wheel) / S'G'" inspector marking on the right side, attached grenade launcher wheel on the left, "RIA/FK" rebuild stamp, and "IO" marked 2-rivet top wood. Complete with a NOS wrapped 15-round magazine, "IS" marked oiler, and web sling. CONDITION: Overall 95% of the remaining Arsenal finish. Stock has visible markings but is lightly cleaned. Good bore with ME of 2 and crisp mechanics. There are no visible import marks.
