Exceptionally high condition, original, early variant 32-round snail drum for German Luger pistols. Loader and snail drum maker's marks match. Snail drum numbered 30939. Original sheet metal slide-on cover and reproduction leather carrier are also included in this lot. CONDITION: Drum is near excellent with good spring tension, moving freely when rotated. Loader is very fine mechanically, and both it and the sheet metal cover retain most of their original finish. Brown leather carrier is extremely fine and has no maker's mark visible. These drums fit the Luger pistol, and when fitted with the appropriate spacer, are also sought after to fit the original MP-18,1 machine gun with angled magazine housing.
