Lot consists of: (A) Unmarked heavy cavalry saber, in the configuration of a US M1840 "Wristbreaker". Blade is bright with blemishes, leather missing from grip with loose wire. With black painted scabbard. CONDITION: NRA Poor. (B) Civil War M1860 cavalry saber marked with Ames Scroll on ricasso and inspector marked "US / G.K.C. / 1865". Blade with gray patina and scattered pitting. Dark patina to guard with split in wood grip, missing portions of leather wrap, and warped wire. With iron scabbard that exhibits a heavy patina. CONDITION: NRA Poor. (C) Civil War M1860 cavalry saber marked by MANSFIELD & LAMB on ricasso and inspector marked "US / C.E.W. / 1864". Blade with gray patina and scattered blemishes. Dark patina to guard with missing portions of leather wrap, and tight wire. With iron scabbard that exhibits a heavy patina. CONDITION: NRA Poor.
