British Cavalry Troopers 1908 Pattern Sword with scabbard. The ricasso is marked with the date 11, 15 (November 1915), the retailer’s mark SB &N Ltd, a War Department arrow and various inspection stamps. The guard is a sheet steel bowl with a beaded edge and slit for the sword knot. The scabbard is profusely stamped along its upper edge and appears to be 1916 dated and constructed in sheet steel. Scabbard has a brush applied Khaki paint. Blade is bright with scattered blemishes, Hilt and scabbard exhibit a dark patina. CONDITION: NRA Good.
