Early manufacture with "United States 1833" and partial Eagle and Ames stamps on the ricasso. Correct "S. Huse Newburyport" marked hilt along with "MS" and "JM" inspector's initials. Hilt has aged patina, good definition to eagles cast at pommel. Blade with heavier gray patina. Scabbard is solid with patina to brass mounts mixed with original gilding. Drag loose. CONDITION: NRA Good.
