Third Reich police bayonet with a “CARL EICKHORN / SOLINGEN” marked nickel-plated steel blade. Blade has scattered marks and blemishes with light freckling and bright sheen. Nickel-plated brass fittings with light patina and feature the police unit marking of “S.Me.II.51.” present which translates to Schotzpolizei, Polizeiverwaltung Merseburg, Administratine District Koln, Duty Location 2, Rack/Item #51. Stag grips are undamaged with an aluminum Polizei emblem. Leather scabbard has light wear with scattered blemishes. The nickel-plated fittings exhibit scattered marks with areas of finish loss. Scabbard is unmarked. CONDITION: NRA Good.
