Imperial German heavy cavalry saber with iron backstrap/pommel, reverse "P" knuckle-bow, and cross guard. Center swelled black ribbed grip. Hilt exhibits a pleasing dark patina that is heavier in areas. Top of guard is marked "B.3.A.F. / 7.26. Curved blade with light blemishes and a pleasing gray patina. Ricasso is marked "PACK OHLIGER & CO. / SOLINGEN". Spine is stamped with a crown over "W" and "15". Steel scabbard with 1 carry ring exhibits a dark patina similar to the hilt. CONDITION: NRA Good.
