Identified by a tag affixed to its S-shaped cross guard that states that this dirk is "Extremely rare early 1830 sailor boarding dirk called "the deck cleaner"". Steel triangular blade with brass cross guard and pommel, and wood grip. Housed in a brass scabbard. Blade exhibits oxidation with patina to brass components. Wood grip with handling wear. CONDITION: NRA Good.
