This lot is of Frederick Remington's Cheyenne. This bronze depicts a horse and Native American rider. The horse is in full stride with all of his legs off of the ground. The rider lays down, close to the horse, only holding on with his legs. In each hand, the rider holds a weapon: a spear in one and a scythe in the other. The horse and rider are tinted to a light brown coloring with high detail shown in the cast. The bronze is situated on a rectangular piece of marble with a gold color plaque. On the base of the bronze, Frederick Remington's name is engraved with gold lettering. Measures approximately 24" tall, 28" wide, and 9" deep. CONDITION: Very good to excellent.
