Wilson Arms Co registered Carl Gustav M/45 Swedish K machine gun. By all accounts one of the very best pistol caliber machine guns for military and recreational use. This very popular model was manufactured with a detachable magazine housing, which enables this gun to use either the standard 36-round magazines or the 50-round "coffin" magazines. The innovative consignor of this gun had two (included) 9mm Suomi drum magazines, in web carrier, fitted to this gun which attach in the same manner as coffin magazines. Additionally, the following magazines and accessories are included with this lot: Thirty 36 round stick magazines, Seven "coffin" magazines in two leather carriers, three leather and one web slings, three plastic two-mag pouches, clip on mirror for training firers sight picture, and a zip-lock bag with “Movie Decorations”. Quite an amazing ensemble. The M-45 was developed during World War II, but final development and adoption was at the end of the war, hence, the end product was manufactured under peacetime conditions and is of the highest quality fit and finish. Full-automatic only operation with slotted receiver tube cut-out for bolt to be held to the rear as on the MP-40, side-folding wire-loop shoulder brace with rubber tubing to provide comfort to the firer much like the Madsen, and charging handle which doubles as a forward bolt lock in the manner of the Austen and other designs. Electronic NFA registry indicates “WILSON, JAMES DBA WILSON ARMS CO” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent smooth, dull blue refinish with Wilson serial number at the top of the receiver with address on right side forward of the magazine housing. Some loss of finish to gray patina on left side with handling marks. Wood is extremely fine with slight handling marks. Black rubber cheek protector on shoulder loop extremely fine. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a fully automatic only machine gun. The Swedish M/45 (Swedish K) was the standard sub machine gun for Sweden from 1945 to 1965, and it is much admired and sought after as a recreational machine gun here in the United States. Many Vietnam veterans encountered this gun for the first time while in military service and were (and are) much taken with its handling and shooting qualities. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2024-05-60.
