Lot consists of: (A) Unnamed grouping to a US World War II aviator with silk maps, several pocket guides, currency, and loose insignia, including a pair of Amcraft pilot wings. All pieces exhibit varying degrees of wear. CONDITION: NRA Good. (B) World War II ephemera grouping named to Tech Sgt. David C. Grieve including several documents, papers for a captured German pistol, German boot knife with handle marked "D.C. Grieve 5/1/45", captured German photos, captured German insignia including pith helmet decals, a wound badge, etc. Grieve appears to have served with the 66th Signal Battalion and some of the ephemera suggests he may have been attached to the 101st Airborne Division. All pieces exhibit varying degrees of wear. CONDITION: NRA Fair-Good.
