Lot consists of: (A) World War II era Fairbairn-Sykes 3rd pattern fighting knife with tapered diamond section blade with blued finish, unmarked. Small oval steel guard stamped "ENGLAND" bottom of right side. Ringed alloy grip marked "4" near pommel. Quite often later post-war knives do not have this mold number. Complete with leather scabbard. Even patina throughout with blemishes to blade and areas of finish. CONDITION: NRA Fair. (B) Post-WWII Fairbairn-Sykes 3rd pattern fighting knife with tapered diamond section blade with blued finish, unmarked. Small oval steel guard stamped "NATO No / 4658827 / 1976" on left underside of guard and "Sheffield / England" on right underside of guard. Complete with leather scabbard. Nice dark patina throughout, elastic on scabbard is worn. CONDITION: NRA Good.
