Lot consists of items accumulated by Arthur Jelinski, who served in the US navy from World War II and retired in 1969. Jelinski appears to have served on the USS Wasp for most of his career. The group consists of Jelinski's WWII-era hat sized 6 - 7/8", his last call to honors booklet, and his framed medals, which put his lengthy service into perspective. There is also a case with 2 ribbon bars, 1 embroidered and 1 assembled, his mini medals, and a full size set of medals for wear to reunions. There are also several photos of Jelinski in his uniform. There is also a shellback certificate named to Jelinski that is dated 1944. This is a very nice group of items from the USS Wasp that would make a nice display. Medals and ribbons exhibit a nice patina with blemishes typical of those worn by a proud recipient. CONDITION: NRA Good.

Item Dimensions: 25" x 16"
