The Mekanika Uru machine gun is a very simple submachine gun which was produced and fielded in Brazil from 1977 to 1985. This is the "rifle" version with long barrel and wooden buttstock. Since they were in service all the way up until only a year before the Firearms Owner’s Protection Act cut off the ability to manufacture/remanufacture machine guns for private ownership in the United States, not many guns made their way here and were registered for private ownership. However, some kits, less the receiver, like this one, were imported. Hence, we offer here a near mint-in-the-box Uru machine gun parts kit with near excellent serviceable 9mm Parabellum 19” barrel intact. Buttstock, complete lower assembly with internals, bolt, mainspring, three original 30 round magazines, web carrying strap and cleaning brush, all in original factory cardboard box. CONDITION: Near mint in original box. Bore near excellent shiny and bright. Cannot improve much on the condition of these pieces. If you are one of the few with a registered Uru machine gun, and especially if you have the "pistol" version of this gun, these parts should be of particular interest to you. JWK 2024-05-146.
