SST. It is maker's marked "American Art Works." A c. 1910s Hires Root Beer "Things is Getting Hire, But Hires are Still A Nickel, A Trickle" tin lithograph tray sign with excellent early graphic and popular character, Josh Slinger graphic. CONDITION: The sign has fair color throughout with minor fade, mostly in the outer ring of the piece. The tray has multiple areas of surface scratching and minor crackled paint. The outer edge of the piece has very minor areas of paint loss, as well as surface staining.
