High condition Colt M16 machine gun in 9 million serial number range with three position selector in classic "triangular handguards" military appearance configuration. Four Colt 20-round magazines are included with this lot. This is a true classic in the configuration so well known to American military personnel. Bayonet lug, triangular handguards, forward assist, and windage only adjustable flip-up rear sight. Only the absence of United States property markings and serial number range distinguish the gun from the ones taken into military service. Electronic NFA registry indicates "Colt" as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original finish exclusive of the magazines which remain very good to extremely fine. Composite furnishings also extremely fine to near excellent showing some light handling marks. This gun presents very well indeed. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. An American classic ready to take to the range in a condition also of investment quality.
