Manufactured between July 1943 and March 1944. "10-43" dated Underwood barrel with "U" marked milled front sight and "S" marked early type 2-leaf rear sight. Receiver manufactured by Intertype for Underwood as marked with a "T" at the rear. Early style flat bolt, push button safety, and unmarked magazine catch. Highwood stock stamped on the pistol grip with a boxed "P" proof and with 2 additional faint cartouches. 2-rivet topwood stamped "P-U" on the underside retained by an early style unmarked flat band. No magazine present. CONDITION: Very good. Nearly all of the reapplied parkerized finish is retained throughout with some mild muzzle wear. Stocks are fine as lightly sanded and reoiled. Very good, strong and bright bore. ME reads just over 1.
