Near excellent condition RAMO registered sideplate Model 1919A6 Browning air-cooled machine gun with original clamp-on bipod on “1944” dated M2 tripod manufactured by “EVANS PROD CO”. No shoulder stock or muzzle present; however a very desirable original steel based belt loading machine in box is included. Marked with RAMO elephant logo on right sideplate with no caliber listed. Bolt is marked “MG 5679” with struck-through “RIA” number indicating this is an American produced bolt. Pistol grip is a casting. Loader is in original green painted dovetailed cornered wooden box with cartridge guide included. Electronic NFA registry indicates “RAMO, INC.” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance is near excellent smooth matte refinish upon remanufacture. Tripod original finished turning a gray patina, with stirrup having more finish. Wood loader box has very good original green paint coverage with loader inside near excellent. Bore of gun is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a full-auto-only machine gun. A fine grouping of an American classic belt fed machine gun which is a mainstay at recreational machine gun shooting events. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2024-05-122.
