DSP. Maker marked "The Matthews Co." A c. 1940s Carver Ice Cream double-sided porcelain sign with excellent Art Deco look. CONDITION: Side one has strong color and gloss, with minor oxidation towards the bottom of the piece. The sign has porcelain loss on the outer edge and has been completely clear-coated. Side two has good color and gloss throughout, with significant surface scratching and deep scratches in the porcelain. The sign also shows more significant porcelain loss on the outer edges. This side has also been clear-coated.
