DSP. C. 1940s. An Aristocrat Ice Cream from Philadelphia Dairy Products Company double-sided porcelain sign with the original metal frame. CONDITION: Side one, has slight fade throughout the color, mostly on the yellow background. The sign has multiple areas of rust staining and minor areas of porcelain loss on the inner and outer fields. The sign also shows porcelain loss on the extreme outer edges. (8.0). Side two, also has slight fade throughout and minor oxidation in the blue and yellow porcelain. There are areas of surface staining and minor porcelain loss in the inner and outer field. The outer edge of the sign also shows very minor porcelain loss. (8.0). The sign has been TAC authenticated.
