DST. Maker marked "The Donaldson Art Sign Co." A c. 1930s "Drink Nehi Ice Cold" double-sided painted metal flange sign with early bottle graphic. CONDITION: Side one, has significant browning and rice paper staining throughout both the inner and outer fields. The sign has minor areas of paint loss below and above the "H" of the larger "Nehi" lettering. The outer edges of the sign show minor areas of paint loss and surface staining. (7.5). Side two, has more significant browning than the previous side, with significant areas of rice paper staining and surface scratching. The outer edges of the sign also show areas of paint loss and a section of touch-up paint on the left-hand side. (7.5). The sign has been TAC authenticated.
