DST. Maker marked "Stout Sign Co." A c. 1950s Pine Hill Ice Cream painted metal flange sign. CONDITION: Side one has excellent color and gloss with one minor area of paint loss directly in the center of the sign. The sign also shows multiple areas of surface scratches and surface staining. The outer edge of the piece has areas of paint loss, most significantly on the flange and at the intersection of the flange and the sign. (8.0). Side two also has good color and gloss, with two small areas of paint loss in the inner field, as well as minor paint chips in the outer field. The sign has surface scratches and surface staining, both in the inner and outer fields. The outer edge of the sign also shows areas of paint loss. (8.0).
