An uncommon, barrel-shaped example of this early ceramic dispenser from Hires Root Beer, featuring a nice 5¢ design on the front. CONDITION: The white ceramic material on this dispenser has a significant amount of browning, likely from absorbing syrup over the years. The ceramic body of this dispenser itself remains undamaged, and shows nice crazing to the gloss. The upper lip shows no cracks. This piece retains its original syrup pump marked "hires" on top.
