Maker marked "The Charles E. Hires Co., Phila, PA." and "The Knopp Co. Lith., N.Y." C. 1900s Hires Root Beer "The Great Health Drink" paper lithograph. CONDITION: The paper has fair color throughout, with areas of significant surface staining, as well as multiple fold lines running both horizontally and vertically throughout the piece. The outer edges show minor crinkles and crease lines. There are two large areas of repair throughout the "The Great" lettering and next to the Boy's head. There are also minor areas of touch-up on the fold lines. The paper has been beautifully framed and matted.
