Produced between February and June of 1943. Rock-Ola barrel dated "1-43" with milled protected blade front sight and early style "S" marked 2-position aperture rear sight. Blued flat bolt. "Q-NL" marked trigger group with push button safety and unmarked magazine catch. I-cut walnut high wood stock marked "RMC" in the cut out for Rock-Ola. "RMC" marked 2 rivet top wood retained by a "QU" marked Type 1 flat barrel band. CONDITION: Very good. Finish has faded to an even dark gray, strong blueing displayed on the bolt. Stocks have been cleaned with some scattered marks and mildew present in the I-cut. Very good, strong bore. ME less than 1. Fine mechanics. A nice WWII correct gun.
