Manufactured in Finland for export in the 1970s, Valmet rifles were some of the first AK style arms imported into the United States; this .223 chambered example was brought in by Interarms. Rifle features full parkerized finish with a 3-prong flash hider, protected post front sight, 500 meter graduated rear sight, checkered polymer forend, checkered polymer pistol grip, and walnut stock with serrated Valmet butt plate. Complete with a black woven sling. CONDITION: Very good. Factory finishes have only light scuffs and handling marks. Polymer furniture likewise shows some handling. Stock is very good with a few minor nicks. Excellent mirror bore. Fine mechanics.
