“E & Co” manufactured World War II British Sten MK II machine gun as imported as a Pre-86 Dealer Sample by York Arms Co, and so marked on left side of the receiver tube. This gun comes with three original 32-round gray parkerized finished magazines, and an original web sling. This gun has the stamped steel shoulder loop. The Sten machine gun is a very simple and straightforward machine gun made mostly of metal stamped parts. It was far less costly and quicker to produce than any of the previous sub-machine guns the British had fielded, and were produced in great numbers for WWII. Electronic NFA registry indicates “YORK, WILLIAM M DBA YORK ARMS” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine combination of dull gray blue finish with some thinning to show some gray patina at points and at the high edges. Bore is extremely fine. Bolt face is extremely fine. Mechanics are fine. This is a select fire machine gun. Just a fine, reliable, slow firing gun which is a lot of fun at the range. Great entry level machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE ONLY TO ACTIVE FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 BUT MAY BE RETAINED BY SOLE PROPRIETOR FFL/SOT HOLDERS WHEN THEY RELINQUISH THEIR LICENSES UPON BATF APPROVAL.
