Single 13.5" Globe Lens. A very rare and seldom seen C. 1940's Globe Lens from Golden West Oil Company, a San Antonio, Texas based company with a very limited number of Service Stations in operation in Texas into the 1960's. CONDITION: Lens is excellent overall showing brilliant color & gloss with no notable field wear other than some fine surface scratches. Mounting notches are in excellent condition. The left edge shows a chip under the mounting notch along the outer cream band, all of which is unnoticeable with lens is placed into a gill or capco body. Remaining outer edge is outstanding showing no notable wear. A rare and beautiful example of Golden West Advertising.
