This flange sign, which is smaltz painted tin, advertises the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper. Maker marked for Scioto Sign, Kenton, Ohio. CONDITION: Side 1 shows good paint in the lettering, light scratches and surface scuffs to the black-painted background. Side 2 shows some paint loss, primarily to the words "Post-Dispatch," showing moderate to significant scratches in the main field.
